Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of padlangsza.com and any services, missions (guided outdoor trips) and merchandise sold by Padlangs ZA ("we", "us", "Padlangs"). By placing an order, booking a mission or ticking the agreement box at checkout, you accept these Terms, our Return Policy and our Privacy Policy.

• All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
• Payments are processed by PayFast. A booking is only confirmed once payment (full or deposit) has cleared.
• Mission deposits are R1,000 per person for missions under R10,000 pp, and R2,000 per person for missions of R10,000 pp and above. The balance is due before the trip start date.
• Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in your seat being released without refund of the deposit.

• More than 30 days before departure: deposit forfeited, balance refundable.
• 14–30 days before departure: 50% of trip cost forfeited.
• Less than 14 days: 100% of trip cost forfeited.
• Name changes are allowed up to 7 days before departure at no fee, subject to written approval.

We may cancel or reschedule a mission for safety, weather, regulatory or operational reasons. If we cancel before departure, you will receive a full refund of monies paid for the affected mission, or the option to transfer to a future mission. We are not liable for incidental costs (flights, accommodation, gear) outside the price you paid us.

• You must be in reasonable health and disclose any medical condition that may affect your safety on the trip.
• You must follow the rules and instructions of the Padlangs guide at all times.
• You must bring the items on the packing list we email you after booking.
• Drugs and excessive alcohol are not permitted on missions. We may remove participants who endanger the group, without refund.
• Leave-no-trace ethics apply on every mission.

Outdoor missions carry inherent risk (terrain, weather, wildlife, water, vehicle travel). You participate voluntarily and at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Padlangs ZA, its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for any injury, illness, death, loss or damage to property arising from your participation, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Personal travel and medical insurance is strongly recommended.

Merch is shipped or arranged for collection after payment clears. Items with custom names or sizes are made-to-order. See our Return Policy for full details on returns, exchanges and damaged goods.

All content on this site (logos, photos, copy, designs) belongs to Padlangs ZA. You may not reproduce or commercially use it without our written permission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be referred first to good-faith negotiation, and failing that, to the courts of South Africa.
