Padlangs ZA is a South African camping crew running guided missions across the country's wildest places — from the Drakensberg and the Kalahari to the Wild Coast, Orange River, Lesotho, Namib and beyond.

"Padlangs" is an Afrikaans word meaning "by the road" — taking the long way around, the scenic detour, the trip that matters. We compose the group, pack the kit, plan the route and build the fire. You show up with a sleeping bag.

Since 2019 we've run 50+ missions with small mixed-skill groups. Every camp is fully kitted: tents, meals, 4x4 transport where needed, guides who know the land.
